Happy Valentine's Day!!

I walk into work today and find pink roses on my desk. The owner bought all the ladies in the office roses...how sweet! Then I also find donuts in the cafeteria and some sort of chocolate cake on my desk. Are you kidding me?!? Some holidays make it so difficult to stick to your diet! That or my coworkers are sabotaging the Body Transformation going on in my office, hmmm...

In keeping with the spirit of sweets for Valentine's Day, I figured I would post one of my favorite dessert recipes: Raspberry Romanoff. Now, the original recipe has a higher calorie and fat count, but I came across Skinny Berry Romanoff and it's delicious too!

So Bootylicious!

I attended the Weider Olympia Fitness Expo this past September. I picked up a free copy of Pauline Nordin's Butt Bible DVD workout. Funny name, I know.

Totally forgetting I owned the DVD, I came across it over the weekend and decided to pop it in the DVD player and try it out. I actually really liked the DVD. There are 3 disks, one is 20 min. upper/20 lower, 30/30 and I think 40/40. So I started with the 20 minute lower and 30 minute upper. The lower "butt" exercises seemed very typical and basic, but definitely great exercises to do. And the same with the upper. I got a nice sweat going, which I always love.

HotPants, Literally

I received a Groupon Goods email and the Zaggora HotPants were the item. Now, I'm very familiar with this concept of producing heat to burn fat as I was an avid user of the belly bands, slimmer belts, or whatever you'd like to call them. But, the HotPants really caught my eye as my bottom and thighs are my problem spot. The waist slimmer works great, so I gave the HotPants a try and bought them. Zaggora is a UK based company. Quite honestly, I was surprised the pants concept came so many years after the belly band! Why didn't I think of it?!? (Side note: I bought my belly band about 10 years ago)

Look Good When You Workout!

Ok so if you are feeling overweight, unattractive, or hating most clothes you put on, do not, and I repeat do NOT fall victim of wearing frumpy, dumpy clothes to workout out in. If you look good, chances are you'll feel good! I had a colleague who said she hadn't bought gym clothes since the 80's. Thought it was a joke until she changed for the gym at work. And holy shit!! She wasn't kidding. She had the Adidas three stripe breakaways with some ratty ass, old and ripped t-shirt along with some all white K Swiss sneakers. She might as well put her hair in ponytails and called it a day. She proceeded to complain about being fat and not wanting to go to the gym. Hell if I were a Victoria's Secret model dressed like that I would feel gross and wouldn't want to go to the gym either!!
