Coming Back from Vacation...

I've decided to change up the blog a little and make some personal posts mixed in with the informational posts. 

Coming back from vacation (ok, not really a vacation but a long weekend) is always hard. The entire weekend, I didn’t really want to exercise. I wanted to pig out, relax and catch some rays. 

Other than doing hours of yard work on Saturday, it took me until 6:00pm yesterday to finally get up and get moving. I made it to the gym and quite frankly, I should NOT have waited that long, but time really got away from this weekend. But the moment I got to the gym, I was very happy with my decision to push myself. 

I had a burst of energy as I ran three miles on the treadmill. After my cardio session, I decided it would be a leg day. I did more squats than I care to mention and incorporated some light weights while doing lunges and plies. Needless to say, I'm feeling that workout today every time I try to squat to use the bathroom... 

I never regret a workout, but I most definitely regret not working out. It's one of things I always tell my friends, a 15 minute workout or an easy workout is ALWAYS better than no workout!
